Auto-delete emails

The other day, I was checking my inbox and found it cluttered. The typical reaction of many people is to mark and hit the delete button. This can be an inconvenience. One also has to sift through the inbox to figure out what is useful to him or her. What about self deleting emails and newsletters. If someone on your email list learns that your emails are self deleting, they are more likely to open them during its window. I think this can differentiate your marketing from the rest to your advantage.

I mean, it could work? But I personally aim for evergreen content for maximum long-term value, so I'm not sure of any way that I could personally implement this.
